Our Story
One Blue Bead started when our designer Geana made a bridal set as a gift that included a small blue crystal bead in the design to be the bride's something blue. Geana decided that every bride should have unique wedding jewelry that completes her ensemble, makes her confident, and is budget friendly. And so One Blue Bead was born.
Get to know us
The Designer Geana:
A transplant from Oregon I now live on the Northside of Chicago with my two cats, Tank and Simba. My two children are grown and are an awesome presence in my life. I began making jewelry when I first got out of the military, it was a way for me to be creative and de-stress that left me with a tangible finished piece. Then it became a way to give personalized gifts to family and friends. Now I’m sharing my creativity with you.
Sales Associate Felicia:
I joined One Blue Bead because I believe in the work that Geana does. I have seen first hand the time, devotion, and work she puts into all her pieces and want to be apart of that either by coordinating schedules, helping with fittings, or being a second set of eyes for you.
I am native to Chicago and have two fantastic children.
